In some cases, particularly if you are outside of Canada or the United States an estimate has to be obtained and e-mailed to customerservice@henrys.com for approval prior to any work commencing. Once approval has been given and proof of payment provided, a reimbursement will follow via credit card.

A copy of your original bill of sale is all you need for coverage.

Henry's Extended Life Plan does not cover regular maintenance and cleaning. Refer to owner's manual for recommended procedures.

Henry's Extended Life Plan will not cover the cost of repairing your product under these circumstances, but if your unit is sent in for a repair through Henry's, you will receive a 50% discount off the cost of the repair.

Terms and Conditions

Henry’s Extended Life Plan (H.E.L.P.)

Henry’s Inc. (“Henry’s”) agrees with the owner of the new product stated on the purchaser’s invoice to extend the Manufacturer’s Warranty on the same terms and conditions, for a period of two (2) or three (3) years, subject to a maximum aggregate term of ten (10) years, upon the conditions listed below. Henry’s agrees with the owner of the used product on the purchaser’s invoice to extend the Henry’s Used Warranty for a period of two (2) or three (3) years, upon the conditions listed below.

You, the owner of a new or used product (the “Owner”) agree that:

General Coverage Terms

  • The Henry’s Extended Life Plan (the “H.E.L.P. Protection Plan” or the “Plan”) is transferable free of charge to a new Owner for the balance of time remaining on the Plan. The new Owner must produce the original receipt to be eligible for coverage under the Plan.
  • The Plan starts from the original date of purchase set out on the date of invoice.
  • This Plan is valid worldwide. Henry’s reserves the right to require the Owner to return the product to Henry’s if no authorized service centre is available to inspect or repair the product.
  • The serial number on the covered product must remain visible, legible, and unaltered. Products with removed, modified, or illegible serial numbers are not eligible for coverage.

Standard Coverage Exclusions

Along with the wording of the Manufacturer’s Warranty or Henry’s Used Warranty, the following conditions apply:

  • This Plan does not provide warranty coverage for repairs resulting from improper or abusive use of the product, liquid damage, bent pins, impact damage, exposure to weather conditions, sand contamination, or foreign objects found inside the product.
  • Henry’s is not responsible for any accessories, bulbs, inks, cables, batteries, cords, tapes, film, cartridges, ribbons, diskettes, media cards, add-on devices, or recordable media products when an item is submitted for repair or replacement, except where specifically covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty.
  • Replacement of batteries, bulbs, ink, film, filters, fuses, cartridges, ribbons, inks, recordable media products, ink waste pads, or any products with a predetermined life expectancy are excluded.
  • Cleaning, maintenance, general inspection services, cosmetic deterioration, grip replacement, and appearance-related wear are excluded.
  • External adjustments, use of non-approved parts or accessories, and damage resulting from failure to perform the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance are excluded.
  • Data recovery is excluded. Customers are responsible for backing up all data prior to repair or replacement.
  • The Plan covers repair parts and labour only and does not include technical support by phone or email.
  • The Owner agrees that Henry’s is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages including, but not limited to, loss of profit, business interruption, or loss of data related to the repair or replacement of the product.
  • The Owner releases Henry’s, its employees, and affiliates from liabilities related to product damage, replacement, or personal injury except where directly caused by the negligence of Henry’s.

Repair & Replacement Terms

  • In the event that replacement parts become unavailable during the term of this agreement, or if the repair cost is deemed disproportionate to the value of the product, Henry’s reserves the right to replace the product with a comparable model of like kind and quality.
  • The maximum liability under this Plan shall not exceed the original purchase price of the covered product.
  • Henry’s reserves the right to determine the replacement product offered under the Plan. If the replacement product value is lower than the original purchase price, no refund, store credit, or balance transfer will be provided.
  • Replacement of the covered product during the duration of the Plan shall fulfill this agreement in its entirety and discharge all further obligations under the Plan unless otherwise specified.
  • The Plan is void if a product is serviced or repaired by an unauthorized service centre.
  • If a product is submitted for service and the required repairs are determined to be outside the coverage terms of the Plan, or if no defect is found, the Owner shall be responsible for all associated costs.

Anti-Lemon Protection

If, during the H.E.L.P. coverage period, a covered product requires more than two (2) qualifying repairs for any issue covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty or Henry’s Used Warranty, Henry’s may, at its sole discretion, replace the product with a comparable model of like kind and quality.

Repairs resulting from external damage, abuse, liquid damage, impact damage, sand contamination, unauthorized modification, or “No Fault Found” assessments do not qualify toward replacement eligibility.

Proof of prior qualifying repairs must be presented to qualify for replacement consideration.
 

Used Product Coverage

If a used product covered under H.E.L.P. requires more than two (2) qualifying repairs for any covered issue, Henry’s may attempt to replace the product with a used product of like kind and quality.

If a suitable used replacement is unavailable, Henry’s may issue a Henry’s Gift Card not exceeding the original purchase price of the product.

Maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the used product. A new product will not be offered as a replacement for a used product.
 

At-Fault Repair Discount Benefit

During the active H.E.L.P. coverage period, customers may receive up to fifty percent (50%) off eligible repair labour and parts costs associated with accidental or external damage, including liquid damage, sand damage, and impact damage, where repair service is available through Henry’s authorized repair network.

This benefit applies only to repairable products.

Discount eligibility, repair approval, and parts availability are determined solely by Henry’s and/or the authorized repair facility.
 

60-Day Repair Resolution Guarantee

If a covered repair exceeds sixty (60) calendar days from the date the product is received by the authorized repair facility, excluding delays caused by shipping, customs, parts availability, force majeure events, or customer response delays, Henry’s may, at its sole discretion, provide a one-time over-the-counter replacement product of like kind and quality.

Replacement under this provision shall immediately fulfill and terminate all remaining obligations under the original H.E.L.P. agreement.

A new H.E.L.P. Protection Plan must be purchased separately for any replacement product to receive continued coverage.
 

H.E.L.P. Renewal Credit Benefit (“Half-Back”)

Customers may be eligible to receive a credit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the original H.E.L.P. Protection Plan purchase price toward the purchase of a new H.E.L.P. Protection Plan when upgrading or replacing a covered product within two (2) years of the original Plan purchase date.

Eligibility is limited to active H.E.L.P. Plans in good standing and applies only toward the purchase of a new H.E.L.P. Protection Plan.

This benefit has no cash value, is non-transferable between transactions, and may not be combined with other H.E.L.P. trade-in bonus offers unless otherwise specified by Henry’s.

Bonus Trade-In Value Benefit

Customers trading in a product covered under an active H.E.L.P. Protection Plan prior to the expiration of coverage may be eligible to receive an additional fifteen percent (15%) trade-in bonus value, subject to Henry’s standard trade-in evaluation process and product eligibility requirements.

This offer cannot be combined with the H.E.L.P. Renewal Credit Benefit (“Half-Back”) unless expressly authorized by Henry’s.

Trade-in values, eligibility, and acceptance conditions are determined solely by Henry’s.
 

Shipping & Remote Repair Support

H.E.L.P. includes standard repair shipping support initiated through participating Henry’s retail store locations, including shipment assistance for remote repair customers where applicable.

Shipping solutions for qualifying repairs will be arranged through Henry’s retail store locations or approved service processes. Additional shipping costs incurred independently by the customer, including expedited shipping requests or unauthorized shipping arrangements, will not be reimbursed by Henry’s.

Customer information is used to process warranty registration, repair services, and after-sales support. Please refer to Henry’s Privacy Policy for additional information.

Additional Legal Terms

Henry’s reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate promotional benefits, trade-in incentives, shipping benefits, or ancillary H.E.L.P. program features at any time without notice, provided such changes do not reduce coverage obligations for active repair claims already in process.

This agreement sets forth the entire contract between the parties and no representation, promise, or condition not expressly contained herein shall form part of this agreement.

This agreement shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

This extended service plan is provided by Henry’s Inc.
