Step into the heart of Africa with Nisha Purushothaman in this intimate one-hour workshop focused on photographing the emotional side of wildlife. Set in the breathtaking landscapes of the Masai Mara, this session will explore how to capture tender moments, mothers with their young, quiet interactions, and the subtle connections that reveal the soul of the wild.
About the Speaker
Nisha Purushothaman is an internationally recognized wildlife photographer celebrated for her powerful imagery of big cats and emotive wildlife moments. Originally from Kerala, India, and now based in British Columbia, her photography journey began with a love for birds and evolved into a passion for capturing nature’s raw beauty and emotional depth.
Her work has been featured in National Geographic and honoured in global photography competitions. As co-owner of a sustainable safari camp in the Masai Mara and a co-founder to Paws Trails Magazine, Nisha brings a unique blend of artistry, field experience, and conservation advocacy. Through her lens and voice, she continues to inspire audiences worldwide to see and feel, the wild in new ways.
