Very good bag"I've had this bag for quite some time now and I have been very happy with it so far.
The lower section is very spacious and can be configured in several different ways to accommodate your equipment and whatever configuration you need.
The upper section is cavernous to say the least. One can easily fit a small lunch in there or extra batteries, and small accessories such as a notebook and chargers.
The laptop sleeve will fit a standard 15"" laptop somewhat comfortably. Nothing overly special about though. There are two side pouches near the top which can also accommodate the filters, batteries or memory cards.
The pack also includes a bright yellow raincover that slips over the bag easily.
This bag has lots of space. More than enough room for your gear and extras. Build quality is quite good and the flexibility of the strapping system is excellent.
Well, because of that space, it also can make the bag very heavy and bulky. It is exactly for crowded spaces and if you do put all your stuff in, be prepared to lug it around.
Also, there is not built in tripod holder. To pay this much for a bag, it should include something like this.
Big note: There is no sternum strap. This is a big issue for me in terms of stability (hence only a 4-star rating for me). I had to go to a local outdoors store to buy one, but I think this bag should have had one already. If you have a lot of stuff, you will wish you had one.
Lack of a water bottle holder. Not really a big issue, but it would have been nice.
Overall, I'm quite happy with the bag. I made a few minor adjustments to make it work for me (like adding a sternum strap) and I'm willing to live with the weight of it all. It holds all my gear and still has plenty of extra room."
