Home > Events & In-store Seminars
Throughout the year, Henry's store locations play host to a variety of in-store seminars. These seminars are presented by members of the Henry's community and sales staff, and cover a wide range of topics such as how to use a video or still camera, using a flash, lighting techniques, lenses and general maintenance of your equipment. Each seminar runs approximately 20 to 30 minutes in length. Please check back frequently for news and information regarding in-store seminars taking place at a Henry's location near you!
Many of Henry's in-store seminars and events are brought to you in whole or in part by Henry's Learning Lab. For information on Henry's Learning Lab and the workshops that are offered, please visit www.learninglab.ca.

How many times have you said "One Day..."?
The Take Your Seat: Live the Life You Intended project began when photographer Randy VanDerStarren realized the need to take control of his own life. He quit his job as the president of a wealth management company, packed up his camera gear, and began to write. His work incorporates a director's chair, a symbol of being in control of your own fate, into moving and inspirational images that help each of us reconnect with the intricate and beautiful places of the world, and with ourselves.
Henry's, in partnership with Nikon, is proud to join Scotiabank, Flight Centre, the Trans Canada Trail and the Canadian Ethnic Media Association in sponsoring the Canadian leg of Take Your Seat. Help us celebrate Canada's 150th Anniversary by witnessing the soul and majesty of our country as seen through Randy's work. Explore the strength of all that Canada and each of us has to offer. Stay tuned for behind the scenes coverage of Randy's journey across Canada on our blog and social channels.
The Take Your Seat exhibition is on now at First Canadian Place and runs until May 5th with future exhibits taking place on June 10th and 11th showcasing photos from the Trans Canada journey at Roy Thomson Hall with the Exhibition continuing at Toronto City Hall starting the week of July 24th.
