Bring your vision to life

Bring your vision to life

The D7500 uses the same 20.9 MP DX-format image sensor and EXPEED 5 image processing engine as the D500, making it 30% faster than the EXPEED 4 found in the D7200, and taking your photos and videos to the next level. Capture with phenomenal sharpness and tonality, especially in low light situations like concerts, sporting events, parties and events.

4K ultra HD video

If you’ve been itching to enter the world of filmmaking, the D7500 is your gateway DSLR. Record rich and detailed 4K Ultra HD or Full HD videos up to 29 minutes 59 seconds through industry-leading NIKKOR lenses while using pro-level video features like power aperture control to adjust aperture while recording and touch focus control. Create beautiful 4K Ultra HD time-lapse movies. Movies can be recorded in MP4 or the conventional MOV format, allowing easy playback on smart devices. The D7500 adjusts to your creative workflow with the freedom to record to an external device, the camera’s memory card or both simultaneously.

Speed & performance

With a wide ISO range up to 51,200, remarkable noise reduction, rapid write speeds and virtually zero lag, the D7500 is ready for your next challenge.

Creativity on demand

Beyond its outstanding image capture, the D7500 includes powerful performance enhancing features. In-camera batch processing improves handling of large numbers of RAW images. Auto AF fine-tune in Live View is also inherited from the D500 to simplify adjustment for minor variations between the camera and lens. Advanced Picture Control tools, including a new Auto option; Auto ISO in Manual Mode and Zebra stripes for detecting overblown highlights help you take full creative control. A new and improved multiple exposure feature gives you the choice of saving each individual frame in addition to the final composited image.

Creativity on demand

8 fps continuous shooting

Improved buffer for shooting RAW. Capture 8 frames per second continuously, up to 100 JPEG Fine frames or up to 50 14-bit lossless compressed RAW frames. With up to 50 RAW shots captured, continue taking photos even while the previous RAW images are being written to the memory card.

Powerful focusing system

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice lightweight camera I bought this as a lightweight alternative to my D3S and it has not disappointed. I have been very impressed so far. Everything works great. Easy to use and the photo quality is as good as any camera I have ever used. I actually prefer it over the D800 I had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing upgrade to my Rebel X I recently purchased the Nikon D7500 prior to an Alaskan Cruise. I previously had been using an old Canon Rebel X so was ready for an upgrade. After much research, each time I kept coming back to the Nikon D7500. It wasn't the cheapest, but certainly wasn't the most expensive. Some features that really impressed me where the # of focus points, the ability to capture video in HD and the low light ability and it didn't disappoint. I am by no means a professional photographer and have a ways to go before I figure out all the functionality, I was able to point and shoot out of the box. The rest I have learned along the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from D7500 gave me the results I was looking for. I do a lot of wildlife photography. The D7500 was a step up from the D5600 and I immediately improved the quality of my photos. Love the speed, love the sensitivity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good camera 4 out of 5 because I don’t like the idea of going down megapixels. If you own a very long range lens really don’t need those megapixels and you’re fine with the 8 frames continues shootings. But in case that you don’t invest in a expensive lens and use the regular 70-300mm VR and you need to shoot some birds that are far away you probably want to crop the photo to get the bird in frame and there’s is when this camera would let you down. If you have a big budget to spend in lenses, this camera is for you, if not go for the D5600, a little bit slower but great results with regular lenses

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just received my D7500. Just moved up from the D7200 to the D7500 and couldn't be happier. Incredible camera and I really like the tilt screen. Started with the D70 and have been with Nikon since with the D80,D90, D7000, D7200 and now the D7500. When you find the best stick with it. Headed for a road trip to National Parks from the Grand Canyon to Teton National Park. Looking forward to some great photography with my D7500.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this camera! I have only had it a month and I can see that it will take a long time to really learn it well, but this is one of the things I love about it. It is (to me anyway) user-friendly and can be used immediately, but I also know there are tons of features that it has that I am going to love as I grow with this camera. It has many of the features that the D500 offers at a much more affordable price. I was going to buy the D7200, but in the end decided to spring for the extra 2 or 3 hundred (can't remember exactly how much) and I am so happy that I did, I can see that this camera will take me much further. I also love the teaching videos I get on Facebook from Nikon, some are basic but always seem to have a point or two that I can learn from, and some are very informative. Again, it all depends on what level we are at with our photography. I've been at it for over 40 years (wow) but still learning every day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from D7500 is a Winner I am not going to go into deep detail on the attributes of this great camera. The main thing is it has everything I needed and then some. As a wildlife enthusiast this camera with the Nikkor 200/500mm lens I also bought does everything I want and the finished product it delivers is outstanding. I have had several Nikons over the last ten years but without a doubt this one is now my go to camera when I am in the field. I operate with it off auto most of the time but the adjustments can be made quickly and easy to fit every situation. The focus is quick and smooth and the details and sharpness of the shots is pristine. Yes I know some complain that it only has one SD card slot but that is why I carry extra cards. I had considered the D500 and almost pulled the trigger on it but this camera as many have said delivers for a considerable savings. For a person like myself who loves Wildlife Photography It gives me everything I wanted at a great price point and paired with the Nikkor 200/500mm it gives me outstanding results. Some of the results are shown below. I have no regrets on my decision to buy the D7500 because it is a winner.
