Great Value"A great value for the price. Other similar products often come at a much higher price point for this size. This offers the ability to control light temperature, has a dimmer and also offers the ability to turn on and off individual quarters of the ring. Although it has less LED's than some other products, the light is still plentiful and it makes the ring lighter than it would be with more LED's. This makes it much easier and more convenient to travel with. If you are in the market, it is worth a look!"

Perfect for portraiture or talking head video.I purchased this ring light months ago at a marginal discount (wasn't a boxing day or black friday sale). It's great. I use it for portraits and talking head videography. Catches the retina nicely with a round light that is very pleasing to the eye. The addition of the built-in dimmer and colour temperature is great but more flexibility into a higher (5700-6000k) would have been helpful but frankly isn't necessary. I was prompted to post by seeing someone who reviewed saying it's not bright at all. This is simply not true. It's very bright. For most of my talking head videos, I use a 25mm m43 lens at a fair distance to get the head and shoulders. This light is literally perfect for this shot. I use minimal fill lighting in the background and adjust the colour temp. to suit the ambient lighting.
My only gripe is the material that covers the bracket to protect your camera body, it's a nice thought but I use this light a few times a week, the soft material gets torn up rather easily mounting and unmounting my b-cam. A better solution would have been to have a head mount rather than a bracket.

Disappointing Product"After watching many youtube videos I decided to buy a ring-light. Let me just tell you, that all ring-lights are not created equal! The main problem is that it is only 160 LED's, most other models on the market are around 480 LED's, what does this mean? Well it means that this light puts out almost no light at all. Very disappointed, it is not very bright at all."
