  • Multipurpose Light:
  • Adjustable shade design for broad area light or warm lantern light with high/low settings. Perfect for an outdoor camp or inside a tent.
  • Easy to Hang, Chain and Store:
  • Built-in carabiner and magnets so it's quick to hang anywhere. Chainable with up to 8 lanterns. Features convenient cable storage.
  • Power from Goal Zero Power Packs and Solar Generators:
  • Low-power draw for extended runtimes. Requires a Sherpa Power Pack or Yeti Solar Generator.
  • Powering:
  • Power the Light-A-Life from the Sherpa Power Pack or Goal Zero Yeti Solar Generator. You can also power the Light-A-Life from a 12V car port using the included adapter.
  • Ready for Outdoor Use: Unexpected rainstorms probably won't harm the light. The Light-A-Life has been engineered to withstand the elements, including rain and snow. Although it's tough enough to withstand a storm, the Light-A-Life should not be submerged in water and all ports/plugs should be dry before turning on or chaining.
  • Chaining:
  • You can chain up to 8 Light-A-Lifes together. Ensure each light is turned on prior to hanging. This allows you to turn the entire string on/off by controlling the first light in the series. If you own the previous Light-A-Life, they are chainable to this new version.
  • Warning: While in use, the metal neck of the Light-A-Life will become hot to the touch. It is still safe to wrap the cable around the metal neck while in use.
  • Area Light: For broad, bright light, use the Light-A-Life in its area light mode. This is a great mode for outdoor use and how the Light-A-Life is shipped in packaging.
  • Lantern Light: For soft, ambient light, use the Light-A-Life in its lantern mode. This is a great mode for indoor use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these lights! I have 5 of the lights that I run off the Escape to to light up a 10 x 10 pop-up canopy at night for 2-4 hours (depending on the season). I need good light as I draw live portraits! I can use the battery for 2 nights. Usually I just charge it up with the solar panel during the day. At first I bought the lights for events that do not provide electricity, so I could stay open later. Then I realized the solar system is easier to carry, easier to use, easier to set up than all the electrical lamps, cords, bulbs and power strips I used before. Now I use my lights even when I have AC power provided, which makes it so simple to keep the Escape charged by just plugging it in!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I different beam pattern Many reviewers say they like this light more than the original. I agree with many points on that. It is more compact, better cord management, two brightness settings, etc. You can read the other reviews for the advantages. My disappointment with this light is that it is not nearly as much of a flood as the original. The only way to really broadcast the light is to have the light hanging very high. This is not possible at times. I like this light, however, most of the light is directed straight towards the ground rather than being dispersed. It does not matter which position the shade is in. Again, my comparison is to the original.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these lights These lights are great, I use them while camping,(so much better and eaiser than camp lanterns)I've used them in the back yard for parties, tailgatting, and power outages at home. I can't think of a reason not to have them, unless you like the dark. I can light up the majority of the living space in my house with three lights strung together, camping I can light up the tent, cooking and eating area with ease. They provide enough light to do what you need without lighting the entire camp site. Need more light just string more together. I recommend them to all my friends, even just to use when the power goes out if that is all the use you get from them you can't go wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best LED Lamp in the World The Light-a-Life product, in my opinion, is the best value product GZERO makes. It might also be the best value and best designed LED light anywhere, of this category (lamp), period. I am a high end LED flashlight junkie, this is an expensive habit. You get what you pay for. But, in the LED ambient and lamp category I think LED products are pretty much junk and the light temperature is very annoying and not relaxing, until now. I don't know how GZERO made the Light-a-Life almost so perfect, and only for $39, but they did. I give it 8 stars out of 5. I would give it 10 stars out of 5 if they made a plug-in adapter to dim the light when all that 270 lumens aren't needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright Light, yet soft white. I have four of these gems. I power them with your escape 150. They make camping so nice. We daisy chain them together. This allows us to lighten our camping spot in several different ways. They each have a separate switch on them. That way we can use only what/where we need them saving our battery power with out having to carry them around. We have had several neighboring campers comment on them. How bright they are, but not obnoxious bright (soft white) I charge my escape back up with the 30 watt panel the following morning. Its also a great light to keep in your trunk/glove box.. It comes with a cigarette lighter attachment, and can double as a nice light to do repairs on your vehicle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Next Generation of Light a Life! the Day I received the Email that the new Light-a-Life 350 was for sale I ordered it as soon as I could. Today I received the Light-a-Life 350 and had to try it out in comparison to the original. I have recommend the original Light-a-Life lanterns to many people due to the versatility of being able to use any 12 volt source, light weight, bright, low power usage, sturdy and handy. I will say that the Light-a-Light 350 will surpass it predecessor. It is smaller, lighter, uses one bright led with two power settings. The storage of the cord and reducing of size with help wiht packing more in a back pack for camping. I plan to buy several more over the coming summer for camping and for power outages, even for parties. I will update this review once I have done more testing but I pleased with the design and features that can not wait to go camping again and dare I say, the next power outage. One suggestion, if not already in the works, might be colored filter/cover. Possibly amber and/or red. Amber for bugs. Red for night time activities like stargazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great light! Bought one to try out and have on hand for power outages. Loved it, and have since added two more. I like how the light is much more even than what I get from an incandescent bulb, and that it is a much whiter light. I generally have one running off an Extreme 350 in the evening in my living room. It takes 4-5 days before the power scale on the battery drops. I also have a Sherpa 50 to use it with for travel. In addition to the three lights, I have two (for now) Extreme 350s, so I can get light to much of my home if needed. I love that they can be chained and that each has it's own power switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Critical Lighting These lights are lifesavers. When darkness comes it is soothing to know that you'll have light to raise moral and allow a sense of normalcy when the power is out. At only a 3 watt power draw one can run multiple lights for extended periods of time without having to recharge your battery pack...run 4 LALs with a 400 watt power pack for 34 hours before recharging the battery pack. The light output is phenomenal at 270 lumens. I string up 4 lights through the house using Coleman lantern stands and light up the whole house....so grab some of these great lights and light up your life!
