Rated 5 out of 5 by from X-Pro2 Test First Production Release "Wow - got mine from Henrys on the release date March 3 as promised in the mail what a surprise! Had been using my Nikon D800E for some time, still using it for special events and it's still a keeper. For casual & vacation travel I have been using my X-E2 and still enjoy using it. And now my new addition X-Pro2 also did not disappoint. Took me an hour to figure out all the features and controls. Tested X-Pro2 with my 35mm F2 lens, 23mm F1.4 and 55-210mm for sharpness against my lens test chart. All checked out great! Had to fiddle with the AF-MF fine tuning to get the best result. As is the AF is 99% accurate. I always like to manually fine tune my focus - just so use to it, that's going back to the olden days from my Film Nikon F2 manual camera. Still have my Nikkor F1.2 lens that I can use on my FujiFilm camera with an adapter. In summary, X-Pro2 is what I expected from all the pre-reviews a few months back."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You won't be disappointed "Just received the camera today and after playing around with it for a couple of hours I can already say that this is incredible. You won't be disappointed in any of the important things such as focusing, image quality or most importantly handling and feel. The x-pro 2 has all the soul that you come to expect from fuji x cameras just not as quirky to use. I have owned the x-pro 1, x-t1 as well as x100 series, this camera will definitely be the one I use the most. Goofy things like the sound of the shutter even make a me smile. I'm sure there will be some quirky things as with all fuji cameras but they will be easier to deal with because the pros of the x-pro 2 far out weigh them. I look at a camera as a tool to capture random glances of time and moments. The fast focusing, image quality and soul of the x-pro 2 will make me want to capture more random glances."

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "After having used the X Pro 1 for a while, I purchased the X Pro 2 sight unseen. The pre-launch reviews were exceptional so even if it lived up to half of the hype my thoughts were this should be a good camera. My thoughts were correct. All the little bothersome, awkward or finicky attributes of the X PRO 1 were addressed from the 1 to the 2. Better grip. More ergonomically sensitive layout on the back and more logical layout throughout the camera. Much more intuitive menu organization therefore making shooting that much more fun. One item I absolutely love is the ISO setting dial on the shutter speed dial. This is the way we used to set ASA, now ISO on film cameras, and this method came from all makers. The salute to retro in this case is brilliant. Two card slots! Diopter adjustment spot on! And as mentioned before a much more logical menu. This one is a keeper! Anybody interested in an X-Pro1? (four stars instead of five? I have yet to meet the perfect camera ... this one is close...)"

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rangefinder goodness. Overall I'm pleased with the body. I love the build and that not only the body but also the dials are metal. Images are what you can expect from this version of the xtrans sensor, and after upgrading the firmware AF is snappy, you also get 4k video but really this is not the body to shoot video with. Having actually dials for shutter, iso and exposure comp is fantastic. I love the range finder style, feels great. A couple downsides The viewfinder is small, I have glasses and although it's usable, it pales comparison to the xt-2 and even x100f. The diopter turns very easily and has no lock, I was constantly having to readjust it and eventually just put a piece of electrical tape over it to keep it in place. I should not have to be putting tape on a brand new 2000$ body. It runs a bit hot, doesn't matter really and effects nothing.
