Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs a LOT of work "Nikon still has a lot of work to do on the Keymission 360. There is little or no support materials or instructions. The app that runs the camera is amateur and has a long way to go before it is ready for the average user. The 360 images are not recognized by other 360 applications like Google (huge problem there). The cheap 360 cardboard viewer does not work properly. All in all it looks like Nikon slapped on their logo to a cheap made in China product without working out all the bugs first and getting it ready for the market. I have high hopes and feel that it can still be a great product but Nikon better hurry up and start making some updates and support materials."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 360 I have use the Ricoh Theta S for a few month now. Compared to the Nikon KeyMission it is easier to use. My biggest problem was syn it to my phone both Android and iPhone. It took me a while but once it is set up all I had to do is tap on the app and the camera comes to live. The PC application software is not good. Hopefully Nikon will upgrade it in the future. I will keep my Nikon with it's 4K it will fool proof my videos for the future. Lastly I love my keyMission if you have the patience to learn how to use it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stay away from this product "Where do I start, not great images, not great software, battery life of a day (I've owned the device for 5 days, and charging it for the 4th time). Twice now, I've taken the device to an event or activity only to find the battery dead...after charging it the day before and not using it in between. Something is clearly draining the battery. Horrendous. Goes back today."

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Half baked and over priced "Pre-ordered and then spent a week trying to get it to work properly. It says 4K and Vibration Reduction which is intentionally misleading and I would say a complete lie. Vibration Reduction only works at 960p which is less than half the resolution. Without VR the video is almost unusable. So you need software stabilization which defeats the purpose of the in-camera stitching or you need a stabilizer which defeats the purpose of the small form factor. It is a very expensive novelty gadget. Connecting over wifi work 1 out of about 10 tries so you spend a lot of time and waste a lot of battery just trying to connect. Every time I switched devices I have to clear all the memory and settings over and over till it worked. Optical quality of stills is OK but not what you would expect from Nikon. Video image quality with regard to saturation, highlights, shadows, sharpness, was actually really poor. Only real use for this would be 360 still shots from a tripod for real estate."

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor software and poor hardware design and late to the game table "I'm a owner of a Theta S camera before this. So when I bought this I was hoping it offer same stitching like in the Theta with very little stiching error but because of the gap between the 2 lens it have a higher stitching error than the Theta S. Another thing I wanted for is for night photography that have great HDR mode like the theta S can but it doesnt have HDR mode for it software and another big big issue is the shutter speed is only go up max 1sec where the theta s go up as high as 1min or 60sec which offer better image quality for night shot using a tripod. Battery life on the Nikon died very quickly my guess is because the camera still processing all the video and photo stiching them incamera. For video it is not true 4K HDR or none at all. The video seem very flat. Only on sunny perfect weather the video came out nice. If it is cloudy it seem very dark and no dynamic range. Night time video is just like all the other 360 camera very noisy and not even usable. bluetooth controller for the nikon is not very well thought out like the samsung gear 360. Timelapse is not very good it can only shoot 1 photo/2sec where on the samsung Gear 360 is go as low as 0.5sec per photo. For underwater the lens cap cause a 1meter blind spot around the endge of both lens and the video is zoom in about 25% so underwater video is horrible better use a action camera instead or better future 360 camera."
