  • The result is perfectly balanced optical excellence promising low aberration, sharp resolution and faithful colour reproduction
  • Double sided aspherical lens
  • The use of an aspheric lens increases the freedom in lens design; however, it does not necessarily lead to the development of a good lens
  • For the FUJIFILM X100T, spherical lens elements are used as much as possible, and one double-sided aspheric lens made by a glass molding process has been adopted as the most effective element for delivering maximum performance
  • Super EBC - Aiming for High Quality Images
  • All the lens elements used in the FUJIFILM X100T have been treated with multilayer Super EBC (Electron Beam Coating), the same process used for Fujinon broadcasting video lenses and large-format camera lenses acclaimed by professionals

  • Providing a circular opening at the largest aperture, the 9-blade aperture diaphragm lets you capture pleasingly defocused background effects
  • Even with a slightly wide angle, the background is softly out of focus while the foreground is sharply defined
  • Built-in ND Filter
  • Equivalent to 3-steps, the ND filter in the FUJIFILM X100T lens reduces the amount of light to 1/8
  • In situations where the light is very strong but you want to shoot at a slow shutter speed or do not desire to close the aperture, the built-in ND filter captures the flow of water or flowers swaying in the breeze in bright sunlight or professional portraits with a beautiful defocused background

Additional Information

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Camera For Most People With all of the information on the internet about cameras it can get confusing. Do I get a DSLR? Should I go mirrorless? Which lenses should I get? Is it better to get an expensive camera with an affordable lens, or is it the other way around? How much should I spend? You might feel that your quest for the right camera is hopeless...don’t despair...the Fuji X100t is here. The X100t is great for so many reasons. Firstly, the image quality is professional level. Fuji has a film simulation feature which enables you to recreate a unique look to your pictures that other cameras can’t do. Secondly, there is a fixed lens. You do not have to worry about buying different lenses and carrying them with you. This camera is compact and is designed mainly for portraits and street photography...not really a studio camera. It is more sophisticated than a point and shoot but not complicated like an out and out pro camera. For family get togethers, kids sporting events, graduations and weddings...this camera is great - its all you need.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magical camera "The Fuji X100T is a magnificent camera. I don't typically write product reviews of any kind but I felt compelled to write one for this Fuji. Like many fathers, I got into photography a little more after my daughter was born. My interest in photography is mainly to capture pictures of family and friends. After a year of struggling in low light situations with point and shoots and smartphones, I decided a few years ago to buy my first DSLR, a Nikon d3200. It's a very nice entry-level DSLR and quite light for that type of camera. A year later, I bought a 35mm 1.8 (52.5mm FF equivalent) for everyday and low light (as the 18-55mm kit lens wasn't cutting it in low light) and a 50mm 1.8 (75mm FF equivalent and just shy of classic portrait length) plus a Nikon SB-500 speed light (for bounce flash) and recently a used Nikon 18-200mm VR II (for vacations and rare telephoto occasions). Here's the thing - I am guilty of G.A.S. (Gear Aquisition Syndrome) as a result of being influenced by other reviews. It's not like I spent a lot or even have a lot of lenses. The problem is that I realized after a while that I hate carrying more than one camera with one attached lens. I constantly struggled to pick a lens - should I bring a zoom that may disappoint in low light? How about my trusty 35mm which while a very useful focal length is not wide enough for some situations. My 50mm portrait lens was fine for the rare times I planned to shoot a dedicated portrait session. The flash? Being able to bounce was a huge improvement but at night and indoors, it still looked a tad unnatural at almost every setting. The flash also was something I dreaded to carry with me and I felt it intimidated people. The 18-200mm is soft unless shot in very good light and at moderate to high apertures (f/8 or higher). The long end is quite soft and wide open is soft. Why am I telling you all this? Because there were many occasions where my iPhone ended up taking important pictures because I dreaded lugging my Nikon gear with me. Nothing wrong with the iPhone (and great for video and panoramas) but sometimes you need a real camera. After a lot of research and one rental later, I decided to buy a black Fuji X100T given that I wanted something light, small, easy (fixed focal length - no decisions to make) and great for environmental pictures of people I care about. The Fuji is the best camera around for pictures of people because it's not intimidating (so people don't tense up as much), it's not awkward to bring anywhere (including a restaurant), skin tones of all types are rendered perfectly, it's great in low light and indoors (where many pictures of friends of family are taken) and it has great fill flash (no deer caught in headlights look despite being head on flash) that balances well against ambient light (I find it best dialled down at -0.67). I basically adjust aperture via the excellent front ring and let the shutter speed set itself but subject to a minimum speed set depending on the situation (the leaf shutter can be hand held at 1/60 very easily and even 1/30 or lower with a steady hand). So shutter is essentially set in one of the three custom Auto ISO settings I use (good light, poor light people, poor light things). Auto ISO works great and you can shoot up to 1600 with excellent results, up to 3200 with very good results and up to 6400 with acceptable results (especially black and white). I leave most of camera's original settings to default (sharpness, saturation, noise reduction, etc). I mostly use Astia (the Soft description is useless - it's essentially a slightly less intense version of Vivid and great for people and things) but also love the new Classic Chrome especially on the street. The film simulations are sublime - ignore people telling you they are gimmicky. I have tried Raw and JPEG. You know what? The JPEGs are all I ever use - fantastic and with minimal post processing if any. Straight out of camera pictures are awesome. The flash - best in the business. Fuji calls it super intelligent flash...they should call other on board flash units from DSLRs super stupid flash. Nikon on-camera flash is great for daytime fill flash but horrible for night shots indoors. Build quality? Awesome - feels very high quality because it's a Japanese piece of exquisite metal mostly. All made in Japan - not just assembled there. The focal length is extremely useful for environmental photography but also portraits believe it or not (as long as you don't get too too close) and landscapes. Macro is excellent. Face detection is very very very useful especially with multiple people in the frame. Auto focus is great but hunts a little in very very low light (turn on AF assist beam). Full silent mode plus other adjustment to make it quiet and no lights (even LCD) mean you can enter a pure stealth mode. Do not mess around with the two optional tele and wide conversion lenses or hot shoe flashes - not needed and ruin point of this camera. Viewfinder? Wow. I mean, wow. You get optical with digital overlay and amazing lower corner focus confirmation pop up window or option of fantastic electronic viewfinder. As a pure optical guy, I am shocked I converted to the EVF in no time - it's that good and seeing how settings affect final picture BEFORE taking the picture is amazing and helps you learn quickly. Seeing replay of picture right in viewfinder is amazing. Analog dials to change aperture and shutter speed are awesome. I thought I needed ISO dial but Auto ISO is so good. You can change size of focus points and being an APS-C sensor, you can hit AF points across entire frame - amazing how full frame AF still has not been created. FF essentially uses crop AF zones but applied to larger sensor means you are forced to focus and recompose or crop or have weaker composition (subject right in middle) - I hate the comprimises on full frame for what you pay. Is the X-Trans 16MP sensor better than the latest and greatest full frame 36 or 50MP sensor? Maybe not but for non pros or those of us printing at reasonable print sizes of printing at all, you will never see the difference for the most part. The look of the camera? Other than a Leica (they look like twins almost) nothing else compares. I like it in both colours but prefer the black more. Colours are rendered amazingly well. Auto white balance is spot on the great majority of the time. Battery life is poor but EVFs use a lot of battery. I bought two backups for dirt cheap off eBay and they get two-thirds of the shots for one-quarter of the cost. I use a BlackRapid Metro strap and absolutely love it. It helps to have fast cards with this camera but my shooting style is slow and deliberate so my Costco-sourced SanDisk cards are good enough. This is not a camera for sports or fast action tracking and in fact, AF-C mode is utterly useless. Manual mode is sometimes needed in extremely low light and works very well with multiple focus peaking options. I don't care for most advanced film simulation modes (toy mode, etc) but modes that allow you to pick out and highlight one colour are sometimes cool (yellow cabs in Manhattan for example). I have rarely used my Nikon since getting this amazing Fuji. I thought I always wanted and even needed full frame - I'm not so sure anymore. I don't know if I'll ever replace this camera unless it's with another Fuji x100 series. I would like to see some weather sealing in the future although not that important to me. I would also love of the stupid battery didn't go in three wrong ways before getting to a fourth correct way (first world problems). The bokeh is fantastic considering it is a 35mm lens. The lens is sharp even wide open but by f/2.8 it's razor sharp. Macro requires at least f/4 or it will be very soft. Neutral density filter is built in and this and/or crazy 1/32,000 electronic shutter mean you can shoot wide open even in bright sunlight. People love picking this camera up and having their picture taken with it. Sharpness? Razor sharp if you know what you're doing. Dynamic range? You don't need full frame - the DR is amazing on this camera. My biggest compliment is that my keeper rate has gone way up with this versus my DSLR. I love this camera and I love using it and I love seeing what it can do as I learn using it more and more. Also, Fuji listens to customer feedback and continuously refines these camera not only via future iterations but through regular firmware updates. I am a Fuji fan for life. If you are even thinking of buying this camera - go ahead and do it. I highly recommend it."

I don't see you rating applied to this one. What would it be ? Also what would the shutter count be

Asked by: tsprockets
Hi tsprockets, There is no rating on this one because this listing is for a brand new camera, not a used one. Therefore, there would also be no shutter count. All used items that would have a rating have "USED" listed at the beginning of the name on the product page. Hope that helps!
