Additional Information

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic camera The A77M2 was a massive upgrade from me from my decade old Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D. The advances since my last purchase are beyond astounding. I'm finally able to capture the images I want looking the way I want. The only downside I've found is battery longevity. There is so much more going on with the A77M2 than the 5D that the battery gets used up faster. I've not run out of power yet but I am glad I purchased a second battery with the camera. I love the EVF and don't miss the optical viewfinder at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Upgrade from the original "If you are on the Alpha bandwagon with a case full of A-mount lenses, the A77II body is a no-brainer upgrade. Very solid in the hand, speedy autofocus, very bright EVF, great burst speed, and for the money, a solid performer. The best you can do on APS-C sized A-Mount, without the expense of going full-frame. Highly Recommended."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A77ii A Worthy Succsessor "I upgraded to this Camera from the original A77. That being said I also own The pro Full frame A99. I was expecting a few new features and an increase in focus speed, but what I got was so much more. Improvements over the A77 Focus Speed Focus Accuracy High ISO - huge improvement (Easily used up to 3200) More Focus points More Focus options Excellent Focus Tracking Focus Limiter Clear Zoom High ISO in Movie Mode Xavcs video recording - firmware upgrade New Standard hot shoe This Camera blew my mind in side by side comparisons with my A99 for low light. Virtually no difference up to ISO 2500 and this camera was purchased for 1/3rd the cost. This is my 5th Alpha camera and is by far the best bang for the dollar in Alpha History. Sporting many features that were implemented on the PRO A99 Model. The Autofocus system is world class and even beats that of the A99."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the upgrade!! "I LOVE the a77II - It was well worth the upgrade from a580, which was a great camera - but this is fantastic! I am enjoying all the great features, and still lots more to learn. It's quiet, smooth and great/fast auto-focus, and great also in low light. You will not be disappointed."
