  • Optimized for shooting both stills and HD videos, it features specialized Vibration Reduction technology for tack-sharp photos and steady videos, even when your hands are a bit shaky

  • The AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR can do just about anything - stills, videos, landscapes, interiors, portraits, wildlife
  • Its massive zoom range goes from wide-angle (27mm equivalent in 35mm) all the way to super-telephoto (450mm equivalent in 35mm), so you can catch stunning close-ups of concert performers and athletes as easily as wide scenic shots
  • Its compact, balanced design and Vibration Reduction technology help keep photos sharp and videos steady, and the lens' fast, quiet autofocus system minimizes camera noise during video recording

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice. Love it. "It is not a perfect lens, but it is a perfect solution for an imperfect problem. If you want a ""do it all"" lens for a Nikon body, then this is it. Used it for 3 weeks in the Middle East, just a week after receiving it from Henry's. I have it on a D7100. It performed very, very well. I found the focus was very good, better than my Sony. Colour issues were not bad at all on the long end, but some should be expected with an ""all in one lens"" of this range. On the short end, it does a great job, even in the dark. Also got some nice ""Macro"" shots using the zoom to an advantage. Just take your time to get a proper focus. Remember to breathe. ha ha"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never leaves the camera "I've had this for 2 years now and it almost never comes off my D7000. Heavy, yes, perfect, no, but..... Full range and awesome zoom, great vibration reduction, reasonable F range. I've done multiple travel trips and even though I hesitate every time at the size and weight, it stays on the camera. Everything from landscape to hummingbirds in flight. Great for the $"

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good all around lens "Now to be fair I'm a amateur and may not fully understand all of the advantages of this lens or use it too it's full functionality. I do know that I enjoy both the results and the fact that I don't have to keep switching kit lenses. This is my lens of choice unless I'm using my 60mm macro."
