Perfect for hiking with my Lumix G85 and lenses - even w/P100-300mm ll lensI do a lot of hiking and backpacking with my Lumix G85 which is on a Joby UltraFit Strap. The UltraFit strap is easily adjustable and points the camera/lens downward either at my side or behind my back (out of my way) but allows for fast access.
It's works well with all my lenses including my new P100-300mm II. Some might not likely the bottom tripod mount but it helps get the camera out of the way when moving through the forest. It's always tight - never been a problem loosening for me.

Great strap, but a couple of features would make it excellent1. The first time I used it, the thumbscrew came loose dropping my brand new camera. Now I check the screw every time I pick up the camera.
2. The connection on the camera base means that you cannot put the camera on a flat surface to take a timer or long exposure shot.
3. Cannot mount on a tripod without removing the strap.
Because of problem 1 I am averse to constantly removing and reattaching the thumbscrew. Could be avoided by a design change that (a) provides a broader horizontal surface around the thumbscrew attachment, and (b) provides for a second tripod mount next to or coaxial with the original through the thumbscrew.

Very good strap! But...I've been using this strap for almost one year and it hs been a great product until last week, my Nikon d750 fell onto the concrete, apparently because of a thumbscrew problem.
I've never had a problem with any of the Joby products that I own until now, I would definitely attach another Joby strap to a smaller camera in the future.

Great, needs a few revisionsWomen come in more sizes than medium. Active bigger women want to safely wear their cameras, too. Stuck in a men's strap, moving it around my curves to fit right. Would give it 5 stars if they had me size. Have done lots of adventures wearing my dslr on my Joby strap. It is far superior to other straps and will buy a new one when you make additional sizes for women!

Works Great! This Joby Sling is the one best camera accessory I have purchased for my Canon. I love it. I ordered it specifically for our Ham Festival. When you are elbow to elbow with people, you need a way to get to your camera fast, and this works great!
I no longer carry my camera in my hand now, because I hated the standard strap. Going to get my daughter one for Christmas as she is a photograper too.

Ultra fit sling strapReceived this a couple weeks ago and used it on a 14 mile hike yesterday for the first time. The strap worked nicely as advertised. It permitted easy and quick access to my camera. The locking mechanism also worked nicely to position my camera exactly where I wanted. Unfortunately, after about an hour or so, the strap, which has no padding, caused a fair amount of pain where it chaffed against my neck. No matter how I repositioned it, it still caused pain so I ended up carrying my camera. Wish the designers would have thought to pad the strap.

Great IdeaA couple of years ago at PhotoPlus Expo in New York, I tried out every sling strap available there and decided that the Joby was the best one. When walking around, keeping the strap shorter keeps the camera from swinging uncomfortably (and, possibly, dangerously). But it extends to shooting length almost instantly so you never miss a shot. My camera bodies have Arca-compatible L-brackets attached and so I've screwed the Joby strap into a lever-activated quick release clamp. When I want to mount the camera to a tripod, the strap comes off quickly and the camera goes right onto the tripod head. And did you ever try to carry two cameras on neck straps? It's almost impossible to keep them from banging into each other. I've also tried hanging one from my neck and one over a shoulder, but the one on the shoulder keeps trying to slip off. But I've carried two cameras on sling straps, one slung to my left side and the other to my right. As far as I'm concerned, that's the only good way to carry two cameras. The safety tether wasn't available when I bought my first Joby strap (it comes included on the Pro model), but it's been a good addition for peace of mind.
