Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sigma is quality "I had a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 for my film slr and shot with it for many years. I always trusted it and Sigma so when the time came to buy a high quality f2.8 zoom for my digital, it was an easy choice between the Canon and the Sigma. I knew that the Sigma would be top of the line despite it being $800 cheaper than the Canon. And I was right. I have no problems with this lens either with auto focus, stabilization or sharpness across the entire frame and focal length. You can easily get drawn into the notion that you have to pay more more more for top quality and quite often it's true but in this case, with Sigma products, you can get the best quality for a very competitive price."
