You need to buy 2 !"The only reason why I give the product a rating of 2 is because of 2 things.
1 The price for just 1 pocketwizard is a bit over priced for giving you half of what you need.
2 They do not advertise or warn you in order to have your flash or strobe unit link with the wizard on your camera you need another one as a receiver, and additional ones if you have more than 1 flash or strobe and don't like using the flash censer delay on the strobe itself.
I'm unsure of any cheaper receiver alternatives that give the amount of range and are compatible with the PocketWizard PLUSIII
Other than that, this product is really great. Just disappointed In the lack of Knowledge."

The Best Just got Better!"This new model far surpasses all other models. The fact that you can both transmit and receive, and select which units will trans and rec is awesome, the 32 channels help in being able to shoot on location where you may run into interference from other photographers. The quad triggering zones allow you to trigger which ever lights or cameras that are activated within those separate 4 zones. The backlit LCD panel is great for studio and low light shooting. All in all, this device is worth every penny when you consider how many separate technologies it replaces"

"high quality product, but you need 2 of them.""Great item, but when I ordered, I didn't realize I needed 2. Get 2!! It both transmits and receives so you need one for the camera, and one for each remote flash unit."
