Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressive. The quality of this lens is outstanding. I use it for both professional photo and video work and am very impressed and pleased with the results. The sharpness and contrast of the video footage coming straight out of the camera is impressive and saves time on post processing. I highly recommend this lens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Canon 24-70mm 2.8L Awesome Lens "The Canon 24-70mm 2.8L II - I've been using this lens professionally for the last 2 years. I consider this a camera bag essential. If you're going put this in your bag. An over-all awesome and versatile lens. I'll never trade this in or sell it. It's mine for life. For Shooting wide: Landscape/Nature/Details/Distant. I recommend the 24-70mm 2.8L II for sure. -trav (of trav+ash)"

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soft at 2.8....disappointing. Good otherwise I havent yet seen the magic of this lens that people speak of. Maybe its me thinking "everybody's photos are better than mine" but I havent noticed it. Also its soft at 2.8 which is a let down.
