Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite lens "I love this lens, my favorite walkaround lens. First, it?s 25mm, so it?s the nifty fifty of the m43 world. If you are looking for minimum depth of field, this is the shallowest you will get with an autofocusing prime. If you don?t mind manual, then you might want to look at the manual Voigtlander Nokton 25mm f0.95 which is four bills. The benefits of this lens otherwise, it?s very sharp in the center wide open, very sharp at f5.6 at the edges and there is only minimal chromatic aberration. The bodies correct for geometric distortion so that isn?t an issue either Focus is really fast and silent so it works great for video also. However, the lens does make some rattlesnake (aperture changing) noises sometimes which is a bit disconcerting but is normal and doesn?t affect operation. The only issues with this lens, it?s pricey and a bit big (after you are spoiled by the also really good 20mm f/1.7 which is half as long) otherwise it?s the lens that spends a lot of time on my camera."
