Rated 5 out of 5 by from A terrific addition to your kit "Tele converters have a terrible reputation. Often this rep is deserved because history has shown that plenty of junk has appeared in the marketplace promising lots and delivering little. This is not the case with Hasselblad's converter. Sharpness is not impacted by this converter, nor do you start to pick up ugly optical artifacts. There is nominal light falloff in the corners, as you would find with any top grade teleconverter but distortions are not increased and the overall agility the unit brings is absolutely valuable. At $1,500, it's never going to be called cheap, but it may allow you to get shots you would not otherwise get with your medium format camera. I use mine with the 300/4.5 Hasselblad lens and it delivers a 35mm full frame equivalent field of view with that lens of 415mm, quite amazing for such a large sensor."
