Instructions for Use"I've been using this product a lot since a shoulder injury because I couldn't operate my camera for quite awhile, so I started wearing a mini-camcorder on my belt for hiking. I have to clean the permanent lens filter every day over the summer because it develops a haze even if I don't accidentally brush against it.
In the store, I was shown how to use the lens cleaner by holding the bottle two inches from the microfiber cloth and spraying once. You use very little product this way and it doesn't leave a residue. I've had the bottle for years and only used half of it, but the price has gone up, I see.
If you sprayed directly on the lens you'd probably see residue from any product you tried."

Leaves residue"This fluid leaves thin film residue every time, just like another fluid I tried. It helps for heavily soiled glass, but it's definitely not the final step. I always have to follow it with a lenspen to remove the residue. (I always make sure to use clean lens cloth, so the cloth isn't the culprit)"
