Rated 4 out of 5 by from Freehands 4 Way Stretch Gloves "I bought these gloves for winter photography outdoors, and also for photographing my daughter's horseback riding lessons which in winter take place in an unheated arena. I realize that they won't be sufficient in extreme cold weather conditions ( I may use them inside an outer mitt in those types of conditions. I had a chance to try them out in early January at a horseback riding lesson. They certainly worked effectively - I was able to keep my hands warm but easily operate the controls on my Nikon D750 with the finger and thumb tips folded back. The magnets work well at holding the tips out of the way, and I think they are better than Velcro fasteners. I did notice, however, that even with the thumb and forefinger inside the glove, my finger tips got a bit cold. I've seen other reviews which indicated the same thing, and stated that there isn't any lining or thinsulate in the finger tips. However, they are still effective for the intended use. The only shortcoming in my opinion is the clip that connects the gloves when they are not being worn. The clip is very useful to prevent one of the gloves being lost or replaced. However, I find it difficult to remove or insert the glove d-ring into the clip. I may replace the clip with some other kind of fastener which is easier to open, such as a small s-biner. That's the only reason I didn't rate it as a 5. Note: I found that I needed to get an x-large, even though I normally take a large men's glove. Other reviewers have noted that the sizing seems a bit inaccurate."
