Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big Heavy and Fun "I like this lens....On a monopod...guess I'm getting old. Overall IQ is good to very nice. I have the Canon version and cannot afford this focal length in a Canon lens($$$$). Build quality is good, focus is quiet and quite fast in good light. Nice lens on a cropped sensor, really nice on a full frame. I'm using it on Canon 5D Mark 111 and 6D and it's really nice to pump up the ISO to get shutter fast enough (found it too noisy on the 7D at anything over ISO 400-800). I would have given it 5 Star Rating if it wasn't for my disappointment in having the barrel direction reversed when zooming(opposite on Canon)I would think this would NOT be a marketing attraction to Canon customers(go figure)....guess I can live with it. Oh....and it looks awesome, and is quite the conversion piece."
