Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value "This tripod is light enough to haul around for an entire day of shooting on foot, but sturdy enough for long-exposure photography on a slightly breezy day. (I don't know how it would handle in high wind - it's not very heavy and would probably need some reinforcement.) It sets up and tears down quickly. It packs fairly small, and the case is easy to manage alongside a camera bag. It's also inexpensive enough to be manageable for someone looking for a decent tripod on a tight budget. I have only two small quibbles. One is with the strap on the case - it's a bit on the short side. I was able to get it over my head to wear it cross-wise (which kept it out of the way when I was schlepping across town) but I'm not very big and it was a fairly snug fit. Someone with a broader chest and shoulders would have serious trouble, and would probably have to wear it slung over one shoulder, which is not as convenient. Given that ultra-light tripods are generally intended for portability and easy carrying, this is a bit of a problem. The other quibble is with the quick-release plate - I found the fastener-screw on the camera plate had a tendency to come loose from the camera over time, and I had to tighten it up a couple of times over the course of a few hours. However, those are very minor quibbles, and I would definitely recommend this tripod to anyone who needs a good tripod that doesn't break the bank."
