This infrared remote control unit allows wireless activation of the shutter.
This remote control allows you to snap the shutter remotely
Configure the camera to close the shutter either 2 or 0 seconds after pressing the button on the remote
You can also use the remote to switch between images while away from the camera
Use it as a presentation tool by hooking up the E-1 to a television, and remotely switching between previously shot photos on the TV screen
This is also a replacement for the RM-2 remote which is supplied with some of our digital cameras such as the Stylus series.
Note: Most digital cameras must have the remote control mode activated on the camera for the remote to function. Check your reference manual to ensure it is enabled before trying the remote.
Note: In cases of frequency interference or when you want to match the control frequency with the camera, aim the RM-1 at the Remote Control window on the camera, and press the CH button and the W or T button at the same time until the Self-Timer/Remote control signal blinks or the camera emits a beep sound.
This remote works with the Olympus C50 and Digital Stylus cameras and E1
It can be used for all E-System DSLR cameras (except E-600)
