Just fantastic"Have to first that these are the most comfortable headphones I've worn. I have the Sennheiser 280 & the predecessor to the 7510's, the 7506. The 280's clamped my head so much it was painful and the 7506 was much better but a bit small for my ears.
The 7510 is much better - soft leather padding and slightly bigger than it's predecessor.
Sound is also just fantastic. Very powerful - very clear - the sound seemed very detailed - not slightly muddy like my Audio Technica M50x's (although those are brilliant too if you want thumping bass).
If you are a 7506 fan I'm not sure that these are for you though. The 7510 has a stronger bass and a little less treble. I just use them for music on ipad and computer work etc so I find the sound better than the 7506. The 7506 I found were a bit 'tinny' although I can imagine someone working in recording etc may find they sound a touch clearer - the extra bass of the 7510 does tend to 'fill-up' the sound a bit.
The other point re professionals is that unlike the 7506's, the headphones are fixed....they don't fold or swivel. The 7506 you could swivel to listen in one ear and have a hand free but with the 7510, they are either on or off.
But I think the sound is great - might need a little tweaking to get the sound you like but with the clear powerful sound, it's like working with a blank canvas. Very, very comfortable, good sound isolation without too much of the vice-clamp and the build quality seems good although they are plastic but also quite light.
They don't have a replaceable cord which is unfortunate and also unfortunately, they come with that horrible coiled cord which I just hate - weighs more that the headphones!!
If you want thumping bass or you are a life long 7506 user you may want to try them out first, if not just about the best I've used at this price point.
Great customer service at Henry's too."
