Rated 3 out of 5 by from Doesn't focus where I want it to "The Good: Great build quality, fast focus, distortion is pretty good for this wide of a lens. 10mm is WAAAAAAAAY wider than 18mm, if you haen't looked through a 10mm lens you should stop into a camera store and play with one. The Bad: My copy of this lens focuses infront of where I set my autofocus point. This means that my foreground is often in focus but my subject is not. This is pretty frustrating becasue my subject ends up looking soft. Overall: If you can find a copy that focused properly its probably a great lens, test your copy before you buy it."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Lens "This lens takes great sharp pictures. The focus is quite silent and quick too. There is a quite a large difference between the 10mm and 12mm if landscape photography is your thing, which is mainly why I bought this 10-24mm. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a super wide angle lens for landscape or travel photography, and the 10mm is greatly appreciated for anyone looking for those super wide photos."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow (hear the echo) "15-36mm in FX speak. I love this lens. It's pretty amazing for what you can do with it. All wide angle lenses produce distortion, and wide angle zoom are particularly challenged. Still this design tames distortion and vignetting. It sharp and really, really contrasty. It may be the best lens I own, certainly among zooms. It's worth every last penny!"

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Low-Light and the Outdoors "Purchased for nightclub photography under recommendation. Shooting with a number of lenses, and replaced with just this one. Ultra Sharp, great effects and perspectives in nightclub environment with a D7000/D7100 bodies. Even mounted on D5100 body produces outstanding sharp images. Ultra useful lens with sharp quality and outstanding build quality for a range of applications."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lens "Great lens! Found that my 18-55 just wasn't wide enough. What a step up! Build quality is great, so much sharper than the kit lens, great autofocus. Highly recommended if you are doing any type of scenic/landscape work."
