Due to the recent announcement that HSBC Financial Corporation Limited is winding down its consumer finance business, the Henry's Advantage Card program will end as of June 30, 2012. Until that date Henry's customers can continue to apply for Henry's Advantage Cards (in-store only), use their Henry's Advantage Card at all Henry's retail locations and Henry's Outlet Centre to make purchases of in-store and in-stock items and receive the following discounts off regular prices:
- 15% Discount on in-store Moments Photofinishing
- 10% Discount on Repairs
- 10% Discount on Used Equipment
- 5% Discount on Inkjet Paper and Ink
- 5% Discount on Memory Cards
- Free admission to Exposure Photo & Video Imaging Expo – May 25-27, 2012***
Customers have the option of choosing from Henry's 90 day No Interest, No Payment Plan* or 12, 24, or 36 Equal Payment Plans with Interest**
*The 90 Day No Interest, No Payment Plan is applicable on minimum purchases of $99 (excluding taxes). Annual interest of 0.0% on No Interest, No Payment plans until 25 days prior to the promotion's due date when interest begins accruing at 28.8% per year, but will be waived if full payment is made by the due date. All prices and payments are subject to applicable taxes. Credit is extended to customers by HSBC and not Henry's. See cardholder agreement for credit policies. ** The 12 Month Equal Payment Plan with Interest is applicable on minimum purchase of $299 (excluding taxes). An initial Administration Fee of $39.95 is required. Minimum monthly payments are required to repay this advance in 12 months. The 24 Month Equal Payment Plan with Interest is applicable on minimum purchase of $699 (excluding taxes). An initial Administration Fee of $69.95 is required. Minimum monthly payments are required to repay this advance in 24 months. The 36 Month Equal Payment Plan with Interest is applicable on minimum purchase of $899 (excluding taxes). An initial Administration Fee of $89.95 is required. Minimum monthly payments are required to repay this advance in 36 months. Annual interest on Equal Payment Plans is 11.9%. At the expiry of payment plan, the yearly interest rate will be 28.8%. Only active card members will be able to use their Henry's Advantage Card to make purchases at Exposure Photo & Video Imaging Expo – May 25-27, 2012 – new applications and re-activations will not be accepted at this venue.
Does the termination of the Henry's Advantage Card program change customers' payment schedules?
No, the termination of the program does not change customer's payment schedules. Customers with a balance owing on their Henry's Advantage Card will continue to receive statements and are required to pay their remaining balance as set forth on their Cardholder Agreement until the balance is paid in full.
How can customers make payments on their existing card balance?
Henry's does not accept Henry's Advantage Card payments. Customers have the following options:
- Payments can be made online or through telephone banking. To set up payment look for 'HSBC Retail' on the payee list. If your bank requires a 16 digit number, add a '0' to the beginning of your account number
- Payment can be mailed to HSBC Retail Services using the reply envelope enclosed in customer statements
Can customers continue to manage their Henry's Advantage Card account online?
Yes, customers can continue to use eCare, HSBC's online account management system, which allows customers to:
- Sign up for e-newsletters/switch off paper statements
- View account balances, available credit, minimum payment due and due date
- View most recent transactions and past statements
- Update contact information
- Register for email alerts
- Access Customer Service via email

Will customers enrolled in Customer Account Protection (CAP) continue to receive their benefits?
There are no changes to CAP coverage or terms at this time.
When is the last day a customer can apply for a Henry's Advantage Card and make a purchase using a Henry's Advantage Card?
June 30, 2012 is the last day to apply for and use a Henry's Advantage Card to make a purchase at Henry's.
