In our Hands-on Workshop you will have the chance to apply photographic concepts through in-class activities to overcome challenging situations you may encounter in your everyday photography. You will learn practical approaches for taking better portraits, tracking and focusing of moving subjects, photographing in low or challenging lighting conditions and taking greater control of your camera's built-in flash. During the session you will be using your own camera while working with other students to recreate challenging photographic scenarios in class and discovering the best way to resolve them.
DSLR 101 course or Equivalent Knowledge
- Scene Modes vs Program mode: Getting the best results - Creating Better Portraits: Focus & Recompose technique, using Fill Flash and Fine tuning results - Photographing subjects in motion: Controlling Focus modes and areas - Shooting in Low Light: Stabilizing your camera, Raising the ISO and dealing with Noise - Combining Ambient and Flash light for better results at indoors and in low light situation
Individuals that would like to put into practice previously learned photographic concepts. Individuals attending this course should have basic understanding of the topics covered in the DSLR 101 courses.
