PS Elements 301

Once you've become confident in using Photoshop Elements' essential tools, the next step to greatness comes by putting these tools to work in ways that provide both more control and more creativity. Get to know how the pros do it using the much talked about 'non-destructive' workflow. Using Adjustment Layers, Adjustment Layer Masks and some creative thinking, we'll show you how to perform the advanced, more complex edits you've always wanted to know how to do. From digital plastic surgery to performing sky transplants, we'll help you take the next big step towards photo editing greatness. We'll also introduce some of the new and effective tools that have been introduced with the latest version of Photoshop Elements.

Who Should Attend?

Individuals who have a solid base of essential Photoshop Elements skills (see workshop descriptions for Photoshop Elements Parts 1 & 2) and who are ready to explore the pro's path to greatness: the non-destructive workflow.

Study Notes:

At the end of the course you will be provided with an access code to download class notes from our website. These notes are great for reviewing the topics discussed in class.

What To Bring To Class:

- For students attending this course at Barrie, Sudbury, Winnipeg or St John's, you are REQUIRED to bring your own laptop with a working copy of Photoshop Elements 9 installed, Laptop power adapter and a Mouse
- For students attending this course at any other School location, Mac computers will be provided for class
You may use a 30-day trial version of this software, available for download at adobe.com. A full retail version is highly recommended, as you will require the software for your own use after the trial version expires.

Experience with Photoshop Elements is required for this course. Interface interaction and various tools are covered in our PS Elements 101 and 201 courses, all which you'll need to know prior to attending PS Elements 301.
