Our DSLR 101: Canon 7D course is an essential first step to learning how to get the very best results with your DSLR camera. This course is all about gaining familiarity with the key features of the camera that you'll use every day. Our primary goal in this course is to quickly graduate from the cameras AUTO mode. We'll show you some simple and effective camera settings that can be used to get the desired results when shooting portraits, action or sports, and landscapes. Most importantly, we'll show you how to take control of your camera so that you'll be able to achieve great results even in challenging light or when your subject is moving quickly. You'll also learn how to take control of your cameras focus system to ensure that your subject is always clear and sharp.

This was my first workshop with Henrys. I took this at the Barrie store. Right from the start Bob made the class comfortable. He started with the basics and made sure that we were comfortable and understood and gave us time to ask questions as well. The D7000 is a great camera and with this course you know what every control does on the camera. He also showed us how there are two ways to access most things, either from the menu or from the buttons on the camera. The powerpoint presentation is up on the wall through the class so you can both look at your camera and see what you are supposed to see. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to know what the features are and able to use them well.
Truly the best workshop for the money. It covered everything I needed to get started with my new 7D and understand its main functions without feeling overwhelmed. It sure beat having to read the owner's manual!!! The instructor, Bob McWhinnie, was very knowledgeable and easy going. This workshop gave me the push I needed from always relying on Fully Automatic Mode to P for "Possibility" Mode :) Highly recommend this workshop!
I attended the workshop for my Canon 7D taught by Michael Willems I was very pleased by the professionalism and highly motivated individual Michael Willems is. if you do not know your camera before the course you will fully understand it's functions after the course. Good Job keep up the great work. Tony
