Darren is a very knowlegable and patient instructor - much needed for this course. He took time with each student to ensure that we were getting and understanding hid instruction without letting the course drag. The course is a very packed three hours and requires full attention - albeit Darren keeps things light with humour spinkled throughout. I enjoyed the course and learned a great deal.

I took the PS 101 course a few months ago and had time to use what I learned prior to taking this one. Instructor John Lamont is an excellent teacher and accomplished photographer in his own right. He very patiently guided me through the material and never seemed to mind questions - and I had a lot! Do yourself a favour and take these courses a few weeks apart. I plan to take the 301 course, but not for a few months!
I just completed PS Elements 101 & 201 today and I can highly recommend both courses. I would suggest however that you break the courses up by taking one on one weekend and another at a later date if possible, as it is a lot to absorb in a short period of time. Darren our instructor was thorough and helpful as he guided us through the many features of the program, he even went overtime to help us get the gist of the many things that are able to be done with the program. I just wish I was able to have taken the courses a bit apart so I could have had time to play with the program to familiarize myself before having the next section added. The course supplies Macbook computers to use, none of us in the class had used the computers before but Darren explained what the difference would be between what we were using and what we would see at home. I feel fairly confidant that I will have no problem taking what I learned and applying to my PC. All in all the courses were well worth the time and money expended. Now to apply what I learned on my pictures.
I did not have much experience in Photoshop but Rob Corrado took the class through it methodically. He made sure everyone was on the same page but kept the steps rolling. It does help that you have computer knowhow to be able to work the screen. You still have to make the camera does most of the work but PSE is an ahh inspiring tool. Thanks Rob and Henry's.
