I got this camera on sale with the 55-200mm lens as an upgrade to my Sony HX9V Point and Shoot. I am very happy. Very solidly built camera. I like the lower pixel count on this sensor since it will provide better low light performance. The articulating LCD screen is very nice and the ergonomics are great as well. This camera is only missing 2 "features". 60fps video recording and optical master-slave flash. Otherwise, it is the complete packa

I have used this camera at school, and I have to say the options are great, and the quality of the photos are amazing. There is so much you can with this, and you can basically photograph anything at high quality.
