  • Great lens... Don't buy via Henry's Online

  • February 05, 2017
  • By: Steve

I've owned this lens for 2-years and can attest to the sharpness and speed. It probably even works better with a native body. I pair this with an EM-5 for portability. A perfect combo in my mind. I like it so much, I ordered one for my dad who just bought an EM-10 II. He also wanted something portable that delivers a great image. Henry's posted a great sale price for boxing week, so I pulled the trigger quickly and ordered online. Over a month later they still haven't followed through with delivery. I followed up with customer service after a couple weeks of not hearing anything. Their answer - it's on order from Panasonic, you'll get it once we get it. So now it's been 5-weeks and i'm still waiting. Advice: Buy this lens if you're looking for portability alongside tack sharp images and don't mind giving up the zoom. DON'T buy it from henry's online. Go to their retail location or buy off another online store.

  • Micro-four thirds king lens, Must buy

  • April 05, 2014
  • By: Matthew

Anyone who shoots micro four thirds needs this lens. In fact, anyone who wants a small, amazing quality, versatile prime lens which has a fast aperture and amazing lens qualities needs this lens. Don't let size deceive you, this lens is the sharpest wide angle lens I have ever used, and one of the sharpest lenses I have ever used. This lens, combined with the absolutely stunning olympus 45 1.8 make a beautiful 1-2 punch for image quality at varying focal lengths for under 1000$. You take any other prime lens combo with similar lens stats for any other system, the value differential is incredible. If you pair these two lenses with an olympus epl-5 or omd, you're getting top notch image quality for around 1500$. That value in impeccable in photography terms.
