  • 40mm f2.8 STM prime lens for Canon dslr

This is a fun and sharp little lens. I own the 50mm f1.8 as well, and I prefer the 40mm. Why? Better build quality, the 40 is similar construction to my 18-135mm STM, better image quality than the 50, quieter auto focus, and a slimmer profile. This lens mounted to my T4i is light and looks fantastic. Great for indoor shooting or walking about outside. Not a nature photographers first choice, but this is why I bought a 70-200 L lens. The price is great and even better on sale. Every Canon DSLR owner should get this lens. Anyone wondering if this review is fake, I bought this lens elsewhere than Henrys, but only for convenience. I bought my Rebel and telephoto from Henrys. Good salespeople. Good overall experience. Happy shooting.
