I just picked this camera up to throw in my purse and not lug around my dSLR to less important events. This camera has been great! It's smaller than my smart phone and has some nice features and good quality images (for the price). I just took it to a figure skating competition and it has a great rapid fire setting, shoots 8 frames consecutively capturing sharp images (even using the full 10x optical zoom). The only downside is that it takes a while for the 8 frames to save after they're taken. (would be perfect to make .gif images)It also recognizes the set of images and treats it as one, so it's easy to search through playback. Highly recommend for a 'toss-about' camera!
