I have had this tripod for a couple days now and the flexibility is great. 3 bubble levels are a plus and when i shoot macro the crank on the arm lets me move the camera closer without having to move the entire tripod. Camera locks in tight with no wiggle, holds my gripped D7100,SB-700 and Nikon 55-300 in all "standard" positions with no problems.

I bought this for its centre pole pan system to allow postioning over objects on a flat surface as well as the extra height it provides and being able to move only one of the legs to get that 'just right' lens angle. My camera is a Pentax k-x with the 2 kit lenses so neither weight nor torque from the lens were factors to consider. The carrying bag is an added bonus and will come in handy when I'm out and about.
Solid build quality, average weight for a tripod of this style. Great for getting those obscure akward angles. The removeable boom arm is fun to use and can be removed if you just need the tripod with the ball head a plus when you want to travel lighter.
I only wish it had insulated grips on the legs but other than that I recommend this tripod for those that require flexibility and stability.
