So much more than it looks

I must say that I was intrigued by the claim of an APS-C sensor and functionality as paired with the small size of this camera. I found that it produces outstanding quality photos, on par with those taken with a DSLR like my T2i- though I still think that my Canon is better. However, this is measurably more portable and so very light, and I love the fact that there is a 3D panorama feature, as well as photo filters that truly enhance my shot (retro, artistic HDR, etc.) and that I can use those same filter on my videos as well.
Speaking of which, videos are where this truly shines, as they come out fairly stable (considering that there is no stabilization in the camera body) and quite punchy and smooth- and the fact that I have a choice between fluid 60p or cinematic 24p in 1920*1080p resolution makes this camera stand out for me.
I will say that I don't really care for the moveable screen, because it will not move sideways (just up and down) so as to better use it for self-portraits. Also, even though I love how small and portable the camera is, I don't like that a lot of things are optional extra, and expensive ones, at that. I mean, the viewfinder is $400!!! But, I accept that this is the trade-off...
I highly recommend this camera for those who want amazing photos from a small package, while not compromising on sensor real estate. I also recommend it for the highly attractive price, considering the feature- especially because the video quality alone here is probably better than most high-end camcorders AND DSLRs!
