For the money this camera is first rate. 16 mp provides a very high quality sharp image. The 10x optical zoom is eveything you would want. Small and compact it is ideal for travelling. It fits into your shirt pocket. It is unobtrusive. It has a rechargable battery but I would personnaly prefer AAA or AA cells. The software works like a dream but why not make it same as other nikon software used with the Nikon SLR's?
