Everything worked right out of the box. After mounting my camera to a tripod, I was pleasantly rewarded with seeing my camaera start recording with the push of a button. No configuration needed. Heny's also shipped the remote within 48 hours (after I met the 49.99+ free shipping criteria) which was very much appreciated.
