I have two camera backpacks (Lowepro and Kata) and a smaller grab and go Canon over the shoulder bag. I purchased this speed belt because I needed something that was flexible enough to allow me to change my lenses on the fly and would help reduce the back pain from carrying around a heavy backpack. The speed belt is good for those who are not restricted to shooting in one area, but need to move around. I took the speed belt on a trip to Alaska and it worked like a charm. I was able to change lenses quickly while on the move without having to stop, take off my backpack, unzip, and load and unload. There are various holsters (that you attach to the belt) that come in all shapes and sizes depending on your equipment needs. In addition, it was a lot easier to carry weight on my waist than it was on my back for hours at a time.
