Bought this tripod to replace a 25+ year old tripod and i was not disappointed. It is solid and very sturdy. A strap is attached for carrying the tripod and another small velcro strap to keep the legs together. The legs have 3 section giving you flexibility for height. I was looking at more expensive brand name ones but overall I'm very satisfied with this Vanguard unit.
