It's all about the pistol grip... very intuitive and ergonomic. The tripod itself is very stable and light. Got it on sale which made it all the better. Highly recommended.

Agree with the other review, it is all about the grip, very easy to use and stable, even with heavy lenses doesn't move. Did find it awkward to manipulate the grip to high views (skyward)at first as the grip angle has to be changed, but once you're used to it, very easy. Nice for macro work also.
