  • Moving beyond a Point and Shoot Camera

  • February 25, 2012
  • By: Ann

We purchased this camera for our teenage daughter who wanted to move beyond a point and shoot camera. Purchasing a DSLR camera can be a daunting experience, but the staff at Henry's (Orleans) were amazing. We looked at a few different options and decided on this camera because of all it had to offer. This camera offered the right balance between price, quality imaging and performance. Most importantly this camera offers room for her to grow and explore.

  • Great Introductory DSLR

  • September 13, 2011
  • By: CY

After a lot of research, I decided on the Rebel T3 as my first DSLR. Yes, it's an entry-level DSLR and very intuitive but it also produces great quality, crisp, sharp images and gives you plenty of room to grow, with everything from fully automated modes to entirely manual, and shades in between. And at the price, it allows you to invest in some higher quality lenses that you can keep with you over the years as you upgrade your camera body. Great choice if you're upgrading from a point-and-shoot to a DSLR.
