When I was shopping for my first DSLR in December of 2012, My choices were only 2, the Canon Rebel T3i and the Nikon D3200. Both were nice cameras but the Nikon didn't feel right in my hand, The Canon fit my hand like it should. Not only was the tilt and flip screen a selling feature, but so was every other feature this came has like the ability to shoot 1080p slow motion video at 60fps,standard 1080p video, ISO range of 100-6400 with an option for 12800,USB connectivity, mic input, wireless remote compatible, tethered remote input and although it says in the specs for this camera that it doesn't have mirror lock up, it does!! You can shoot professional photos with this camera never mind what the pros say! When this camera was released by Canon it was in a league of it's own! I still feel that way about it. No other entry level DSLR has as many options and features under 700 dollars as the T3i does! I highly recommend this camera to not only new to DSLR people but it would also make a great backup for pros alike! Mine was bundled with the 18-55mm IS II and 55-250 IS II lenses. Accessories for this camera are limitless as well! Mine is equipped with a battery grip and have since purchased 6 other lenses to go along with it for my shooting needs! Buy it you won't regret it!
