This little flash diffuser is great to keep in your bag for times when you don't want to use an external flash. It just slides into the hotshoe and does a fantastic job of breaking the harshness of the built in flash. The support bracket and diffuser are two different pieces, so it can be broken down fairly flat for tucking away in a pocket in your gear bag. Great alternative to a bigger softbox diffuser. You can also adjust the height of the front section which allows you to sort of direct the flash a little bit more. Great for indoor close use where you'd normally just use the pop up flash. I still use an external flash with a diffuser for outdoors in most cases, but I always keep this handy.
