Those just starting out with off-camera flash should consider this kit. I found it was very good value for money, and each of the components are of high quality. The light stand easily touches the ceiling in my home without the flash. Reversible umbrella is a plus and the umbrella mount is metal and very solid. My only gripe would be the angle of the umbrella mount. Some other brands have an angled mount so that your flash sits closer to the middle of the umbrella for more even lighting. The one included here is straight, though a wide flash zoom setting mostly offsets this. Nevertheless, this kit is amazing value for money!
