I recently purchased and had the chance to use this 5 in 1 reflector kit with stand and I LOVE IT. It is very handy to have and can be used with a flash stand as another source of lighting. Having the stand is a great help when I don't have an assistant helping me. I like the fact that is it so easy to switch from black to white, to silver and gold for whatever I am needing for a specific shot! I highly recommend this product! N.H-Elora, ON.

I love using this reflector/diffuser. The stand is especially handy if you don't have an assistant. Just be careful that the boom arm is above one of the legs or else it will tip over. You may also want to put sandbags on the legs if you have it outside on a windy day. The educational DVD isn't necessary. When you buy the kit, have a Henry's associate show you how to expand/collapse the ring. And then you can save yourself $20 and get the Westcott kit without the DVD. Overall, I would rate this product a 4/5 because the construction seems good enough quality... but I think the design of the cover is short-sighted. Specifically, the gold is opposite the white and the black is opposite the silver. But I think it makes a lot more sense to have white opposite silver to reduce the number of times the cover needs to be changed.

  • check the parts before you buy!

I bought this kit (in a box containing more boxes) and took it home. The instructional DVD was damaged and could not be played (I did an internet search and found that I am not the only one complaining of this). Furthermore, while the stand was ok, the arm that holds the reflector was improperly assembled at the factory. I will have to return it. (2 hours of driving I will never get back) I should have checked all of the boxes at the store.
