It took me a long time to get the ballhead that "talks" to me and meet my needs. I do some macro photography and partnered this beautifully crafted product with the Manfrotto 055PROB. I can't ask for more. i have other heads but this one beats 'em all, easy to use, compact, and holds my camera like it's welded on it. The price is just about right but best of all, i got it for my birthday from my wife!

I'm just a beginner/amatuer/enthusiast, but I researched A LOT before finally making a decision. I think this ballhead is excellent and solid all around, and would highly recommend it especially for the price. You have all the adjustment you need, including 360 panorama. It has a friction knob that has come in handy. It's just easy to use, fast to use, and has a solid high-quality feeling to it. I have this attached to the 190xprob legs. Highly recommended -- if you're sure you want a ballhead, and want a high-quality one at a decent price, buy it.
