  • A beautiful wide

I've shot this lens on the H4D-40 for over a year now and I just love the look. It's similar in look to a 17.5mm in full frame 35mm, but the H4D-40 adds a 1.3x crop factor making it more like a 23mm comparatively speaking. For landscapes it's beautiful and just tack sharp. There is the natural wide angle perspective exaggeration one finds with any 24mm or wider lens, but you can still use it for people if you keep them towards the center of the frame. Adobe Lightroom's Lens Correction module addresses the exaggeration extremely well, as does Adobe Camera Raw. As yet, DxO Optics does not have modules for Hasselblad lenses so I cannot use their incredible DNG converter. Regardless, if you are shooting medium format digital and will use Hasselblad glass this is an incredible lens. Highly recommended.
