  • great lens

I have had this lens for more than three years and use it extensively. I bought it when I was looking to replace my kit lenses and had the typical struggle as to how to spend my money for the best value and suit my purposes. The good people at Henry's in Barrie offered up some alternatives but recommended this lens for my needs were. I can not fault this lens in any way, it is wide enough for most purposes on a crop camera, renders great color, sharpness, and the IS makes it great for low light. I bought it when it was much more expensive so at a sale price of $799 knowing what I know now I would snap it up in an instant. Probably will never get rid of it as long as I use a crop camera.
