Just got this filter for a new lens we got. Using it for lens protection so it never leaves the lens. Wanted to be sure we would still have the same clarity with or without the filter so opted for the digital multicoated lens. We've tested photos with and without the filter and have the same clarity with or without the filter. The in-store demo of the filter clarity is still true when you place it on your lens!
